Junior Puppy Camp

Junior Camp establishes a positive beginning for your new pet. We build the fundamentals by concentrating on stages of growth, such as housebreaking, basic obedience, etiquette, and socialization. We also educate you on how to manage adolescence, and how to prevent poor habits.

Our Junior campers have plenty of room to run and grow. We create an atmosphere that encourages proper etiquette and reinforces inherent strengths. We take our campers on weekly excursions to public and private training facilities. They participate in obedience imprinting and socialization.

What to Expect at Puppy Camp:

Obedience Imprinting - These are practical and essential obedience commands for every day living.

Crate Training - Housebreaking your puppy and teaching it to go outside, are critical for a good start to indoor habits. We build an excellent foundation for you by crate training your puppy.

Excursions - These provide favorable circumstances to practice obedience, socialize with people and other dogs. Dogs travel from Neuman K-9 Academy to train in other public and private settings.

Self- Confidence Building - We give each puppy obstacle courses, environmental stability, and teach it to deal with adverse conditions. Dogs learn to work through a variety of conditions. These add to the puppy's self confidence. Some of the skills they learn are jumping in/out of vehicles, and going up/down stairs.

Proper Etiquette - Each puppy will learn how to meet, and appropriately greet a human companion, without jumping up on them. They will also be taught to wait at the door until given a command to enter.

Upon completion of Junior Training Camp, your canine will receive a certificate of completion recognizing them as a graduate of the Academy, and you will receive a DVD with obedience commands and instructions specific to your dog.

Puppy Camp Level I. - 2 Weeks ($800)
This program includes: Crate training, obedience imprinting, socialization, confidence building, and field trips.

Puppy Camp Level II. - 4 Weeks ($1500)
This program includes: Crate training, obedience imprinting, socialization, confidence building, and field trips.

To register: We request that half the tuition be paid as a deposit to hold your place in the course. The remaining balance is due at the time of pick up and/or graduation.

Effective communication and proper motivation strengthens the ties between you and your puppy. We apply techniques that are proven safe, and conducive to standards recognized by canine training experts.

If any of the programs listed here do not meet your needs, contact us for a customized training package. Our dog training facility is located in St. Peter, just north of Mankato. We service the entire state area, and include the metro area.
