Dog Training Handler Courses

Most of our training courses are on-site lodging programs. We also offer handlers the convenience of bringing their trained dog to our facility, where they can take advantage of continuing obedience instruction.

It will be more convenient to take your dog to public places, if it follows commands regardless of environmental distractions. Your dog also will be an integral part of family activities, if it has proper social skills, or less aggressive behavior.

Our private and group handler courses are an economical way to compliment previous training, or help you prepare for an upcoming trial. We will provide you with tools to improve communication with your dog, and advance obedience skills.

These are some of the advanced themes which will be emphasized--

Dog obedience training providing you with skills to be a better team, and forming a lasting partnership.

Timing and reinforcement successfully accomplished through the use of praise.

Through the use of body language your dog will know what you are trying to communicate.

Command discrimination being an essential tool for advanced training.

Focus heeling through distractions.

Honing in on handler skills, timing, foot work, and leash handling.

Cost:

Group training sessions are $25 per team (handler + dog) and are divided into one-hour sessions.

Private one-on-one classes are $40 per team (handler + dog) for a 1 hour training session.
